Encryption Cycle
Asymmetric Encryption
This system operates based on public and private keys. The public key is distributed to all clients, while the private key is securely stored on the server.
Automatic Encryption
Any document file created on a client is automatically encrypted with the server's public key. This file is encrypted with a unique file key, which is in turn encrypted by the server's public key. Thus, even the document creator cannot open the file without receiving authorization from the server.
Controlled Decryption
To open a file, the encrypted header is sent to the server. The server verifies the request according to the established policy and, if approved, decrypts the key and sends it back to allow the file to open.
